I need help!! My right breast is still not producing hardly any milk! I tried always starting his feedings on that side and pumping afterwards also to continue to stimulate it (per lactation consultant) and it's not working! And suggestions???
Mine were the exact same way and I got the same advice that you got. It definitely doesn't work overnight. It took about 2 months (maybe a little less) for mine to even out! I just kept starting on the one that had less first and stimulating. Whenever I put my milk in LOs food I would always express out of the one that had less. If you keep working on it they should even out :) mine were so bad! You could just look at my boobs and tell which one was making less! I think it still makes a tad bit less, but nothing major like before.
I think it's normal for one breast to produce more than the other.
@jemmoool, what advise have you gotten? It hasn't always been like this it just happened lol 2 weeks ago
I have the same problem. But it's my left breast that isn't producing as much.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I've seen someone who pumped 4oz out of one breast, and an ounce in the other. I've always had a terrible time pumping. I always pump more from my left breast than my right.
