Am I wrong for letting my baby sleep in her mamaroo tonight? When ever I put her in it she sleeps for almost two hours. At night she likes to torment mommy by waking up every 30 minutes to comfort nurse. She's whining every few minutes but her eyes are closed, she's fed, dried, not gassy or colicky, and not in any pain. She wants to be held why she sleeps but mint is so beat and I have a seven hour drive in six hours. #CantWinForLosing
@alainalovesmommy, it didn't even work, she still cried. She laying next to me and STILL crying. Im gonna let her cry it out and soothe herself to sleep😞
you need sleep , if the baby loves the motion just let her sleep in it
I couldn't do it I took her out and put her in my bed. She's still being a fuss pot because no one is holding her.
Girl no. Gotta do what you gotta do. My daughter slept in her swing for the first 2 1/2 weeks we where home.
omg... I'm so depressed my child cries more than she doesnt..The only time she's not crying is when she's alsleep.. but she only sleeps 30 minutes each time. she won't sit in her carseat, her crib, pack n play , her swing, bouncer nothing!!! I have to hold ger 24/7 even when she's sleeping or else she will wake up. I'm tired I don't get any sleep nothing soothes her I don't even remember the last time I had enough time to bathe :'( I love her so much but this is so challenging
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
Opinions on crying it out?
My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib.
Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that ...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
I know how that is , just check on her. I wish I did the cry it out method more . it will be okay mama things will pass
