So I guess all of kids sports leagues start the day of my baby shower so there will be like 4 people show up. Ugh. I'm just gonna cancel it. I'm not wasting all that money for 4 people.
Why can't people just let others parent how they want to? I'm so over seeing people attack moms who choose not to vaccinate 🙄🙄🙄
I don't smoke weed. So I guess I will never understand. But I'm not sure why people smoke weed when they're pregnant!

Aw even though just 4 people be nice to just celebrate with them! Sometimes a small gathering nice it's not so hectic but i can understand how you feel I didn't get a big baby shower with my first it was just 6 people at my first shower my second son I got to have a big baby shower

@ab, I can cancel catering and return most of the decorations and save myself $500. that's money that I could use for the baby. The people who will actually show are people I see every Thursday night for game night.

Oh wow yes I don't blame you hon maybe plan a welcoming home party once baby is here? Everyone can bring over a dish of food and celebrate that way? My sister wanted to throw me a baby shower I just was like no I'll do like a little welcome home party

@courtney.emond, my maid of honor is traveling from Denver and it was the only day she had to come. (she's hosting). And sports are every Saturday until after this baby is born. And trying to arrange anything on a Sunday in Utah is like pulling teeth and I work mon-fri. Its just not going to work.

why don't you just do a small lunch setting with the people who can? for like an hour or two. nothing big but at least you'll gets gifts. who doesn't love gifts ? lol

@lucyyxoxo_, I don't want to host anything. I was already hosting this big expensive shower that nobody is showing up to. If someone wants to throw me something I'd happily attend. All the people who would actually give us gifts will still do it regardless. I just get to keep my $700 that's been spent on the shower and not have to wreck my house.
