any tricks for potty training stubborn little boys? this kid is almost 3 and doesn't care how wet he is.

My son decided on his 3rd birthday enough was enough and did it on his own. We tried everything sticker charts price boxes etc it was when he was ready and he only had 2 weeks of night time accidents

I had my middle daughter completly potty trained right after her second birthday and I would bribe her with candy and every time she would go potty in the toilet she got a little piece of candy and it worked

@bugmama lucky!!! my son just likes wearing the underwear. he goes in the potty then just wets himself after we leave the bathroom.

@rebecca4687, we tried that too, he just sat on the toilet all day expecting treats lol. and screamed bloody murder if he didn't get any$

@curvymommy, my nephew was the same way....my sister bought him the toy he wanted and threatened to throw it away if he pottied in his pants. it helped her....

@1stmom1994, that might be something... I told him the characters on his underwear would get sad if they got wet. he didn't like that lol

I just finally told my son that I was never putting him in a diaper again and he sort of just did it. I also gave him cookies for going lol. I just potty trained him and he turned 3 in january

@amilo561, was he reasonable about the cookies lol or did he just sit and pretend to go for a cookie?

I think boys are harder. My daughter was easy to potty train. My youngest boy turned 3 in January and finally consistently pees in the toilet. He still poops his pants, though. It's extremely frustrated!

haha he was reasonable at first but once he figured out how to control it he kept going to the bathroom like every 10 minutes to pee the tiniest little bit and then expect a cookie lol

@payitoffnow, that's probably what's gonna happen to me uuughhh. @amilo561 that's what my my son does with jelly beans! ugh this is a nightmare lol he says he's ready and wantS too but then doesnt.
