Has anyone gotten induced due to baby having a two vessel cord? Dr says if she doesn't come on her own by 39 weeks she needs to come out, so we will meet our baby girl in less than 3 weeks!! Just wondering what to expect.tia
My last appointment they said her weight was 5lb 10oz-6lb 8oz at 35 weeks lol
Yes@adamsbaby2016 she's been monitored very closely this whole time besides the fact I was high risk for three months also 😁 the way she explained it to me was that her growth may start to slow down and she wouldn't get enough nutrients so both of them decided 39 weeks would be a good time which is fine by me if there's a risk then I'd rather have her here
Yeah, he has been okay. At first they thought I just had the same problems as you but I few weeks back as he got older they saw he was missing a kidney. Have they been checking her growth the whole time? I don't understand why they would induce someone for that.
Has everything else been ok with him?@adamsbaby2016 I honestly didn't think this would be something they would induce for so it never crossed my mind. I'm kinda hoping she is able to come on her own time but I also like the thought of coming in that day and knowing lol
Lucky you some days I wish I could get induced. Well, I have another scan on the 11th so we shall see.
Yes everything is and has been perfectly on track 😃 I'm in my 36th week now. My dr said it's a precaution so that her growth doesn't start to decline. I was high risk for a large placental abruption and my high risk dr said 39 weeks also at my last appointment with him last week @adamsbaby2016
They thought everything was okay with my little man but then we found out he is missing a kidney.
Right?? I don't blame you! They may do the same thing. Every doctor is different. That's good. I'm hoping for the best and soon too.
