Preeclampsia labs came back negative! Whoop whoop! Got to retest in a month or so but thank heavens it's negative! Now just got to deal with this high blood pressure! Baby girl is growing and healthy and weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces!!! I can't wait to meet her! ❤️❤️❤️

@pinkladybug63, is right. @babizehm16 I've had elevated blood pressure for a while now so they ordered blood work and a urine test. My urine came back with protein in it so they did a 24 hour urine analysis to see how elevated the protein levels are. The levels for preeclampsia are 300 or more and mine were low 200s so I'm clear for now.
My bp has been borderline but no protein in urine and I've had swelling that started instantly... Just curious as if I could be on my way there...
they will check your kidney function and see if there is protien in your urine which is the signal of poor liver and kidney function. they do the test if your blood pressure has been high. mine developed when I was in preterm labor already so it can happen anytime @pinkladybug63
What do they do for a preclampsia test? And what made the Drs decide to do one?
