but I was suppose to be induced today and my doctor cancelled it. and with everyone's work schedules I'm home alone everyday. and I live an hour away from town where the hospital is. so if I went into labor on my own, I'd be screwed. @wiccanmommy

nope. I have a doctors appointment on the 1st of April which is past my due date. I don't get a doctors appointment this week at all, and knowing my doctor somethinf is gonna come up once again and I most likely won't have an appointment next week either. it's always something with him. I've only been seen 2 times out of all my weekly appointments. and him seeing me was last week. the week before that was the other ob in the office and at that I doubt she's gonna induce me. so I'm looking at probably having this baby in April, which is not what I wanted.

Squats, walking, and a hot shower worked for me. Also manual stimulation after the shower helped start the contractions. Are you dilated at all? @xbbycolletto

I've been stuck at 1.5cm for the longest as far as I know. my appointments keep getting canceled every week just about bc of my ob so IDK Jack about my progress. I've been seen 2 times the entire time I should've had weekly appointments. I just know when I sit and walk or lay down I have sharp pains in my ass and my vagina and they drive me insane to the point where I don't wanna do anything @mandaskye I walk 2 miles everyday and it hasn't really done anything either besides make me sore and make my back and stomach hurt with no progress of any sort of contractions.

@na bycolletto, yikes. I know how you feel. I was stuck at that too and couldn't seem to catch my doctor. I just had my son 4 days ago. If you're walking a lot already have you tired not walking that day? My doc told me that sometimes walking doesn't help if that person walks a lot already. The sharp pain might be your pelvis being sat on by baby. Castor oil can help too. I took that as well in small amounts during the day Thursday and went into labor that night.

I don't wanna do castor oil. I'm not one for it. @mandaskye it's just not the way I wanna induce labor. but I don't walk around much besides these last two weeks. because I'm being forced to and my body can't handle walking 2 Miles like I've been made to do. it just completely pisses me off that I should be at the hospital right now getting started on my induction and instead here I am at home... still pregnant.

@xbbycolletto, I'm really sorry :( I can't think of anything else that could help start it on its own. I thinks it's cruddy of them to cancel your induction and not even schedule you another one.

nipple stimulation! it works, takes time but if your determined you can do it and have that baby within the next 24-48 hours

if you have a breast pump try using it, way more effective than just playing with them. also, playing with yourself lol. not to be weird but get yourself off a few times a day and you'll start contacting, even if they're light at first it helps sooo much.
