when does you period start coming monthly after giving birth? I'm 9 or 10 weeks post partum and I had a period 29 days ago. it should've came yesterday but no sign of it yet..

From what I've always been told it can be random for awhile because your body is still trying to go back to normal after being pregnant and full of hormones. But if you're worried your doctor would probably be able to put you at ease.
@maciecakes, so should it not be every 28 days? I'm also not on birth control.
If you're breast feeding it may not come back until you stop 😱

So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

@maciecakes, thanks for info. Was going to call OB and might still do. Had my son 12/31/15 bled couple days and it's almost 12 weeks and no period. Im exclusively breastfeeding also.
