My family has decided to wait to throw me a baby shower till after little guys here ... Due to some health concerns for him. The doctors say he has pretty severe club foot and possible deformity of his hands. They think it's pointless to have a shower and have people get stuff he won't be able to use (socks,mittens,shoes,footie onsies and maybe even some walkers/bouncers/swings and possible car seat because of casts).
I feel kinda sad about it all ..just cause he has some medical problems doesn't mean he won't need stuff ... So what kind of things do u moms suggest he NEEDs before he's here. That way I can buy it myself and feel prepared.

they act like u cant excange things hes going to be a child disablities or not he still need those things and to single him out because of it is stupid no offense
My mom said we will do a small get together before with just immediate family and they will make sure I have what I need ...honestly I'm terrified people keep saying "handicap" and "defects " and I'm just scared and sad. It's really hard to be happy and excited when there's a dark cloud hanging over my whole pregnancy
@noahsmomma, you could always still have a shower and do games and cake and just do a money tree😄
He will still be able to use a swing.. I'll get the basic mostly onsies, hat, diaper , pack n play or wherever u decide he will sleep, blankets , bottles
