how do you politely tell your mother (who hasn't been in your life the last 13 years) to stay out of the hospital until your lo is born while still being the bigger person for your lo's sake?? induction taking longer than thought and she came up from Texas so she wants to visit again tomorrow but after today's visit I wanted to cry and that's the last thing I need is to be stressed about her when it's time to have my baby 😭😭

Have the nurse help you think of something good. Maybe they want to keep your blood reassure down and asked for no visitors right now.

Looks like you're gonna have to tell her you don't want her there while in labor and that you'll see her after. She should know that she can't just walk back in after hat long and have things go back to normal instantly.

Since she is able to see through bs I think you should be straight up and honest with her, seems like that may be the only way. Tell her you aren't trying to hurt her feelings or be rude but that you're more stressed having her there than you need to be and that you need some space til your little is born. I wish you the best of luck!
