A nurse showed me when I had my first, after you wipe it with the little alcohol pad, to fold the pad 2x and squeeze it so a drop comes out onto it. It helps it dry up a little faster. Just thought I'd share 😃

As long as it doesn't smell you should be good. A little bit of blood is expected. If it smells it's most likely infected.

@rosieindigo, she has an appointment in two days but I wanted to get input from other moms who has helpful input to share. Are you familiar with this or no?
