Any other mommas working up until their child is born? I see lots of women on here taking their leave weeks before. Just want to make sure I'm not alone in this or doing the wrong thing.

I plan on working as long as possible. with my first I worked a 12 hour day be was born. and he only came 6 days early.
I began my leave on a Monday thinking of would have until the following Friday to rest. That same day I began contraction & my son was born that friday. If you're physically able to I say you wait as Long as you can, more time with your baby (:
I own a home daycare and don't really have a choice. Unfortunately I can't afford not to get paid.
I'm still at work, 38w 1d, and will be until I go into labor. I wish I could afford to stop now though!

my due date is April 15th but I'm having a c section April 8th I could work up to April 6th if I want to but I already said I'm staying til March 30/April 1st(im getting pto for it but no work yay) I think going on leave a week early is good I'll b more relaxed and not stressing over what I was supposed to get done before baby
I worked until I had my baby! 39+4!!! left work and drove home to change and had my fiance drive me to the hospital!
