For mommy's that have more then 1 child. Did you first child get jealous when you had another baby if so what did you do to help stop it. iv been spending as much time with my 2year old but I think once his brother is here he will be jealous
my kids were 3 years apart when I had my middle child n never had a jealous issue but now that I have a 6 year old n I'm expecting she is extremely jealous so I think the age makes a huge difference
I already try to get him to help. I think he understands there's gonna be a baby around. he's helped pick out cloths he rubs my tummy and lays on my tummy. he helped pick out the bottles in a use he's picked out the socks.
I thought the same but when my second daughter got here my oldest loved her and was happy to be a big sister, now I think it's going to be a problem when my son get here my second daughter is something else lol
I know I'm going to have this issue with my 2 year old. I have been spending a lot of time with babies with him so he gets used to the fuss. I also plan on including him in as much as possible...giving him jobs and such
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
mine are 20 months apart and my son was not very jealous. we didn't have problems until his sister got old enough to play with his toys lol. I thought he would be super jealous bc I'm a SAHM and he was used to having my attention almost all of the time, but he was fine. One thing is to make sure you give the older one alone time with you or dad every day if possible, and remember that the newborn is fine so long as they are fed and clean and comfortable, but your older one will need some extra attention so they know they haven't been replaced. Another thing I found really helpful was to have my toddler 'help' with the baby any way he could, like getting me a diaper for her or something, whatever the age of your older one allows. It makes them feel useful and that might have been the most helpful thing I did to avoid much jealousy
