ok so can someone clear this up for me... is it ok to have my baby in the same room as me? I see everyone putting their babies in their own separate room.. One, I am due in August and already the thought of having my baby that far away while I'm sleeping is unsettling. Two, I do not have an extra room in my house to designate to my child. all 3 room are occupied. am I the only one that feels the same way? or am I just crazy.. lol

I will be getting this sock that tracks the babies heart rate and oxygen level, and pretty much everything else in their body lol. they will be sleeping in their own crib so I don't accidentally smooth them or something Lol but still in my room. @machelle137
mine will be sleeping with me actually. :) new studies have shown that it is the best for their heart to be very close to you and prevents sids.
@wttwot, my son has a nursery but he sleeps in our bed or in his pack n play in our room. I don't plan on putting him in his own room until he sleeps through the night 😊
@wttwot, yeah I'm not too sure how long I'll do it for but it will be until I'm comfortable with my baby leaving my side
@hhammons, I plan on it being like, always lol. maybe my views might change when that time comes, but right now, I'm enjoying the idea of always having them near me. when are you do? I'm August 14th. my bday is August 29th lol
I'm due in August as well, and I plan on having my baby sleep in my room for a few months
@rose.grossnickle, very true. I still love with my dad. who let my bitch of a cousin move on with her two kids. ugh, that's a story for another time lol. but even if that 3rd room WAS available, I couldn't sperate myself that far, even tho the room is literally 2 steps away from mine.
my baby is sleeping with me due to I still live with my parents. but even if I did live on my own I would still have her sleep in the same room as me. to me it's like giving your baby more bonding time.
oh good. So it's normal.. like I look every where I go and mom's give them their own room. I'm just like why!? especially if they are a new born. it would just be too stressful. that makes me feel a little better tho. @alusardi
My baby sleeps in my bed lol she's been in my bed or in my room in her Rock n play since the day we brought her home.
ours always sleep with us in our bed or crib for the 1st year of life.
