I did that with my last baby! Plan on doing it again. I just mentioned to my nurse in l&d and she told the dr when I pushed.

Don't listen to everyone! Everyone has their own opinion and always will. Do what you want for your child. I have no idea if it was the delay or what but my 3rd baby only woke up every 4 hours for a bottle while we were in the hospital. My older 2 were up every 2 hours.

I definitely think the remains of the nutrients passing through before being cut does a lot for the baby! @jenn61115

It did something for sure! She was my easiest baby the first few days. Then it went downhill for about 6 weeks. We learned she was allergic to milk and had a protein allergy.

I delayed it for about 5 minutes and plan to do the same...longer if baby has a tough time breathing at all.

I'm going to ☺️
