So why is coffee bad when you are pregnant?

the caffeine in it I guess. but I still drink my 1-2 cups every weekend. and one during the week.

Yes I beleive you will be fine. studies say we risk miscarriage if we drink more that 200mg of caffeine a day. this is my second pregnancy, and I drank coffee with both. I have 4 cups total all weekend, and 1 or 2 all week. baby is doing fine. :)

There's a certain amount of caffeine that medical professionals are comfortable with you having. A cup a day is not going to hurt you. I drink 1-2 cups of half decaf almost every day! Half decaf or decaf would be best and suggested. There's still caffeine in decaf.

i don't think it's bad they give it to u for BF at the hospital
