my hubby sister has hep c due to some bad doings of herself, and I'm already thinking of her having less contact with my child, I feel ill have to take extra precaution, due to her having that, I feel I'm going to be an over protective mother, its my first child and I I feel im overreacting when I think about it I feel slightly bad but my baby will be a defenseless infant, what's your guys opinion? am I overreacting? should I be cautious if she carries him or holds him?

The good news is baby can't contract it by hugging or holding hands or just being around her auntie. Only if she were to share tooth brushes or needles ect. I understand your worries about a new born baby though.

No not at all. I fee like that is a serious enough sickness to not want my baby around it. Keep your baby as healthy as possible. If she says anything just let her know you don't want your baby to get sick. If she cares she'll understand.

No! Baby can get sick really quick! I think it's ok for you to take all the precautions you need too!
