That how my husband was when he found out we were having our second girl... But the second she was born he had a smile on his face and tears in his eyes, love at first sight! lol

@bkrettler11497, I know how you feel. My hubby had a boy with his ex and called our baby a girl ever since we found out. Now that I'm showing alot more the baby is sitting low which many say its normally a boy than. He talked to me last night saying he would be just as happy though cause he knows he will be apart of this baby's life and be able to do everything he wasn't able to do with/for his son with this one. So I have hope it will be better. Hopefully your man will be happy and realize he has you and it would be different than before you know ?

My husband was upset at first as well but he eventually got over it and now he can't wait to see his baby girl ...🎀🎀💗💗👣👣

@kasieerin, you can research gender grieving. My husband and I both had it this pregnancy. Just give him time and space. Don't push too hard. We wanted a girl so bad because we already had a boy and my whole pregnancy has been way different we just knew it was a girl. When we got the pictures and opened it and it said boy. I cried and I could tell my husband was upset. He kind of stopped talking to my belly and seemed distant. The research said to give them space to cope with the news. It doesn't make him a horrible person or make him ungrateful. My husband and I love baby P so much now and can't wait to meet him. Everyone knows each baby is a blessing but just think about everything in life that you wanted a certain thing to go a certain way, and you got upset because it wasn't exactly what you wanted. It's the same thing. He will come around just give him time and don't treat him like dirt because it will only make it worse. I am giving you advice from a personal experience. Not to mention baby P is our rainbow baby. Good luck dear.

I hope he knows that men are the ones that determine the sex of the baby. He can't be mad at you for that. My boyfriend didn't care what we had and he's in love with our little girl already. He'll come around don't worry. Once he holds her, he will realize how amazing and in love he is with her.

the only thing he notices is "wow you got fat" he's gone all week so I look different every week when he gets home and that's what I hear every week..

Well congratulations I'm excited for you. Just wait til he holds her. That baby girl will have him wrapped her little finger. My doctor told me I was having a girl my SO didn't seem so excited either but he came around just took time. But turns out I'm having a boy now so he got what he wanted. I'm sorry that isn't cool but he will stop being an "asshole" lol and get over it.

I'm 19 weeks and 3 days... sono nurse was questionable about it being a girl I showed my doc and she said it's definitely a girl... @emilybbyh
