this postpartum depression is ruining my life and my marriage life.. is this only on my mind? am I overthinking everything or is this really a big deal..
@kala_elise, I will coz this is getting out of hands.. my husband and I keep on fighting
@evococa, that's how exactly how I feel but except for the harming my baby and thought of suicde .. I just get really irritated when I couldn't make her stop crying.. and had thoughts of running away..
you really need to go talk to someone! post partum depression is fairly common and there's nothing wrong with asking for help.
I cried nonstop, I pushed away my husband, I would go from normal to one extreme emotion in no time (either super pissed or super sad), I had no motivation to do anything but cuddle my son, and eventually had thoughts of suicide. It got to the point where I wasn't really able to function other than to take care of our son. Thankfully it never effected our bond, but sometimes it can make you feel disconnected with your child and even cause thoughts of doing harm to baby. If you choose to do counseling, I would just stress: do NOT settle. Make sure your counselor is someone you like and feel comfortable with. My mistake was going to a lady who I did not see eye to eye with. You can message me anytime if you have questions or wanna talk <3
@acimamama, @candice_leann yea I'm planning to talk my doctor about this tuesday..
I had to go to counseling for my post partum. It's definitely a big deal, and it can worsen over time if not treated. Don't feel ashamed, it's totally normal, but definitely mention it to your doctor or you can look up counsellors near you. <3 you can do it momma
a lady I worked with had it and she had to talk with her doctor
its a really big deal. get with your doctor n set a plan to get it dealt with.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

*hugs* the first part is recognizing the problem, so you're on the right track. So many mommies don't realize they're suffering from PPD and just can't drag themselves out of it. You can go to your primary physician or your OB, they will be able to put you on the right path. <3 I'm glad you're seeking help, I know how hard it is to deal with.
