How do you guys feel about making your S/O plates? It has been an argument in my relationship for awhile. Especially if I cooked the food already, I'm not making the plate too.
But when he cooks he always makes mine for me too so it's okay :)
Like @mommy_of_02 I also always make my babe's plate, my mom always did for my dad too
I always cook and always make my husband'a plate. I feel like it only takes a second and since I'm making my sons plate I might as well make his! Lol
i also leave a plate ready for when he gets out of night school he just has heat it up
i always do, even at parties, cookouts, or if we are at some ones home visiting.
I do occasionally. But it goes both ways. Sometimes he does the same for me, but it doesn't happen all the time. My mom used to do it ALL the time for my dad. It was almost like he couldn't do it himself.
make his plate, its something I've always seen my mom do for my step dad and my mil does for everyone.
I'm telling you it makes me upset. I don't cook everyday. I make enough every 2-3 days so there is left overs and he gets upset because he has to heat up his food.
Well my S/O definitely isn't doing any dishes. He doesn't feel it his place. When I cook that day I will make his plate but we could both be laying in bed and he'll tell me to go make him a plate. Like right now he called me in class to tell me he wants a plate made when he gets home. Also I bought the groceries
my husband usually dishes the food up, but sometimes I do, I don't mind it since I'm already in the kitchen. anyway.... what gets me is I do all the work and he doesn't even help with dishes, I mean I don't mind if I have to load the dishwasher but at least take your plate to the sink sheesh lol
I make my hubby's plate too. kinda just habit. If I'm cooking dinner for a like a dinner with other people I'll let people serve them selfsame, including my husband. But I'll usually ask if he wants me to serve his food or not. A lot of times he'll serve me! 😊
I have no problem making his plate he's my husband and he works hard to bring food on the table the less thing I can do is cook and make him his plate!!
I normally ask him if he wants me to make him a plate (especially if he is holding the baby) but he normally says no because he prefers doing it himself
I'm with ^^. No matter what mood were in I make his plate but I'll take it back to the kitchen too. It think I just picked it up from my mom because she always did for my dad.
yessss.... hahaha @cammyj84 his ass always does the dishes lol regardless.
I'm keep it real. I don't care if we fight if I cook I'm making his plate I'll leave that shit in the kitchen but I make it and while he eat I be like u better wash the dishes lol
I only do it if he's had a ridiculously long hard day or if his neck is bothering him (he was in a wreck 5 years ago that messed it up bad). Usually he will just do it anyway even if he is hurting... I don't have a problem with it, but that's because I know he actually appreciates the things I do for him.. Now my ex on the other hand... I didn't do those things for him because he expected if and it was "my place" to do it... lol
Question. Do you cut up your partner’s meat before serving him his plate? Do you serve him his plate? Apparently I’m “spoiling” my husband because I cut up his steak & I make his plate lol, I don’t really care though I like doing it 😂🤷🏻♀️

Hubbys plate (:
Seen a discussion on Facebook about whose gets their plate first...the husband or kids...I laughed...I make everyone’s plates (kids first to cool down) set up the table and then go get everyone to eat 🤷🏼♀️ no one is served first or last that they know of food is set and ready 😂

Plate that I made.
I used a clear plate and kitchen towel from dollar tree.

Finished dinner and these are my husbands plates. How does he eat so much and gain ZERO weight?! 😩 He finished it all!
& Don’t judge my plates, easier clean up for me. 😝
I always make dinner and always make my fiancee a plate and he hates it! he says u do so much all ready u don't need to serve me. but my mom did it for my dad. I just feel like it's a nice thing to do since he goes to work for twelve hrs a day to support our family the least I can do is fix him a meal!
