My husband thinks that me being a stay at home mom is an easy job, yet when he comes home he says "oh you didn't clean today" or "why is there no food made" not knowing that one of our boys was sick and wanted to be held or that our two year old kept making a mess and that's the reason it's a mess. Now with this third child on the way, I'll always love my children but it sucks because he doesn't really help he thinks feeding them and that's it he's going to lay himself on the couch and watch tv is enough when I can't even take a shower or eat because I've been busy with the kids. I hope with three kids he can change because I'm getting tired of it. It's making me feel depressed because it's like I can't ask for help or he'll start nagging about that he just got out of work and wants to relax.

@mommy_of_three, I know, mine says the same.. he always says "What do you do all day?" Like I'm not allowed to be tired. 😑 I wish I could just go out for a few hours, if only I had friends. 😩

@pulamaxmama, yes I stopped working because he wouldn't help I would still stay up at night if my son was sick and go to work, but now it's like he's always complaining he's tired but if I complain he starts saying what are you tired of being home all day

Leave him with the kids for at least few hours on his day off. Hopefully that will teach him something.

Right? I seriously wish they'd understand.. he gets a day off, we don't. On his days off he can just sit on his video games all day.. Like when do we ever get a "day off.". 😒 We'd be lucky if we got to shower by the end of the day 😩

@kleeas1, yes I think that's what I'm going to do, plan a trip with some mommy friends and leave the guys alone to fend for themselves

Exactly but they just fail to understand and think that because they are out working we can just sit down and relax anytime we want and they can't, when most of the time my two year old doesn't want me sitting down but standing up or I'm walking my 5 month old around because he's fussy

You just take a long weekend to yourself and let him tend the kids. He will understand how hard it is in 1 hour of you being gone!! So sorry you're going through this. Stay at home moms need to feel appreciated

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
