I need some opinions guys! So I'm dilated to almost a 4 and I'm 90% thinned but I can't seem to get that last little bit to dilate so that I'm fully a 4. I took some castor oil at 10am to see if that works. (I've heard good things about it). Plus I'm walking a lot and doing some squats. What other things can I do? And has anybody had the castor oil thing work?

I heard castor oil doesn't even work unless you're 24hrs within going into labor. 😊
They said it could make the baby poop in the womb and they could aspirate it and it get in their lungs and they could have a bad infection or die. I'm sure you don't want any of that, who would. I'd just be careful. But you're so close!!! lol
That's good. I just wouldn't do anymore. I mean what worked for one may have bad outcomes for another and vice versa. IMHO not worth it. At least if baby isn't here soon you'll be induced Tuesday! Or try having sex if you're up to it.
@neni0424, @snicole12 @jacesterlingsmommy I didn't realize. I had done quite a bit of research and talked to people and they said it was fine :( it was only a small amount so hopefully it won't hurt him. I'm still walking and squatting.
@janinee, I just got off the phone with my OB and I'm scheduled to be induced on Tuesday too!
I'm the same way!! I'm almost to 4 but she doesn't wanna come out! I'm scheduled to be induced on Tuesday..good luck!
some preggie mom from here had taken castor oil and her baby was born with problems, so she warn all of us to not use it that's its not worth it!! @mandaskye
I've heard nothing but bad stuff from castor oil. You're so close to being in active labor, maybe just try walking or bouncing on a ball. But in all honestly it could happen any minute.
castor oil caused my mom's friend to have a still born :/
