It bothers me how pregnant women can look at their weight gain as a negative thing.. Embrace your growing bellies and even the bellies that aren't getting so bad. I was 103 pounds before I got pregnant and last I checked I was 117.4 when I was 26 weeks and that was last week. I love my growing belly. I might make jokes about how I'm bigger but I love being pregnant and getting bigger.

@rockysmommy my addiction is squats! lol it's fun because my nephews and daughter were a big part of my weight loss. every day we'd blast music and work out they loved competing with each other to see if they could do more than our normal 300 squats lol

@mamabearto2cubs, I understand I wasn't saying it as in you're a horrible person for not loving your weight gain. I just felt bad for everyone who couldn't see it as beautiful because of the weight.

@lilfree16, sorry if I offended you it just made me upset that people can say just because I'm smaller I can't understand. I can. I struggle with different weight problems than others but I understand what it's like to look in the mirror and not like what you see. It happens to me a lot.

@rockysmommy I agree lots of women struggle with weight issues gaining and losing. I don't think my belly is gross I love being able to tell I'm actually pregnant but I hate the thought of gaining weight back that I worked my ass off to lose (literally) lol.

@lashellg, I did mean it in general but more of a sad thing because I figured during pregnancy everyone would embrace it no matter the size. It's like because I'm skinnier I can't have mental and emotional breakdowns because of my little amount of weight gain. I've struggled with gaining weight all my life because I couldn't and now that I am, it's odd because it's all in one place not like I'd wanted it to be. But just because I'm smaller, I don't understand. Like I'm sorry everyone got offended by what I said I was just saying i feel sad for the mommies who can't look at it as a beautiful thing. Some women even say to gross and nasty and that makes me upset for them. Not because they're saying it but because they can't see it as a beautiful thing.

@lunalady96, @marie_xo @lilfree16 @nicemmcha2015 @jesjeslovesyou @mamabearto2cubs okay so because I'm smaller I can't understand what you're going through? I didn't mean it as judging anyone I felt bad for them because I see it as a beautiful thing even when I can't fit any of my clothes at all because of how tiny I used to be. I wish everyone could see it as beautiful but I know we don't all see it that way and it makes me sad. I'm not talking about people being upset they gain weight I'm talking about the ones who call it gross and negative things. I don't like it when other women call themselves gross it's putting themselves down. Even me gaining a little amount makes it hard because I don't even feel like dressing up sometimes because I don't fit my clothes and can't afford more. But I would never call it gross. And the fact you say I've never struggled with weight is wrong. I've struggled with gaining weight all my life. I've been so tiny my ribs are showing and I don't have any meat on my body. Just because I didn't struggle in the same ways as you doesn't mean I didn't struggle.

@memabearto2cubs, me too:(. It's such a struggle when you begin to really love the way you look and then gain all of the weight back! I hardly ever went shopping because I was so big. Now I feel sooooo good! I fit into things I haven't been able to fit in since middle school! It's crazy! Im so happy but I'm watching myself get bigger each day. Crazy thing is I haven't gained a pound lol. It's all baby so far, my bump gets bigger each day it seems. Bleh. I know it's for the baby and I wouldn't change it for the world but mentally and emotionally I'm having to readjust again.

@jesjeslovesyou I lost 100lbs before this baby and then I gained 20 lbs on fertility meds then i lost 28lbs while pregnant then I gained 5lbs recently and it's freaking me out. I'm terrified of gaining weight while pregnant. I love every bit of my pregnant belly but I also fear that I'm going to gain a lot of weight in the end.

lol! Of course it would bother YOU. You hardly weigh a pound. It's a complete body change and it can shock some women. What they're feeling shouldn't bother you unless you're uplifting them. I lost 60 pounds right before my pregnancy and am slowly gaining it all back. It's a lot to take in, especially when you've struggled with weight for so many years. We are pregnant and things are going to bother us. We have every right to be a little bothered at the weight gain. I wouldn't even expect someone who has never even struggled with weight to understand that.
Nicole Matthews·
someone your size who has never dealt with weight being a negative thing would ever understand. not everyone is or ever has been 103 or even 117. unless you get into the 150s-180s you're not going to get it. weight gain is really hard to deal with when you've struggled with it your whole life. I get what you're saying but you really shouldn't judge those women when you don't know their situations fully.

I think she's speaking in general. Bc it is a lot of people on here that act like they aren't supposed to gain any weight

You haven't gained much weight so its hard to feel the way somebody whose gained 40+ feels. Even though they should embrace it, its still a big change thats hard to get used to.

not if you were 145 and weight 180 now.... :( iv never been 117...
