So my husbands sister tries to parent my 2 year old, threatens to put him I time out if he doesn't listen yells at him when he doesn't do something she asks, or she will flip his hand if he touches her phone or threatens to hit him when he hits her, his uncle and dad and grandpa love to play fight and he just gets confused on who to play fight with, like he is two years old he doesn't understand a lot of things he doesn't get the concept of it! With two year old you have to repeat yourself daily weather you just told them 2 seconds ago he doesn't remember, or show him how to do what your asking..... Am I overreacting? About being upset with her?

with my son if we are at my house..my rules..if someone don't like it leave. if we are out or I'm at a friends house they can tell him no but they don't do or say anything else. they bring the problem to me directly.

At two their attention span in not long at all. My two year old I have to go the same. Repeat and show. I don't let others discipline my kids. That's what I'm for. It confuses them if it's not the same approach you use. I don't think your reacting wrong at all.

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
