May 4th I get to find out what I am having, it seems so far away!!!! just need to know now hahaha, was awesome though see my tiny baby today! doesn't feel like it has been 12 weeks already, so hopefully the next 5 go by quickly!
@mrscruz0530, I will look for something like that. @wannaboyplz they offered the sequential screening which is blood work and ultrasound but not the gender involved with blood work. they did that today, the scan showed no downs.
@wannaboyplz ahhh gotchs, a blood place can do it, honestly every baby needs to be tested
I paid 20 it was a $45 package but I had a groupon for it so paid 20 yes it was accurate I had my little girl already :) they even let me go back two weeks later to verify because the cord was kinda in the way so they wanted to double check I'm glad I did that because she was being stubborn at my anatomy scan so I wasn't able to find out that way
oh @hermommy that is what their version of MaterniT21 is, at first it as told I could do it and would pay $235, then today when I was supposed to do it. The doctor I saw today said their was no reason to do it but if I wanted to I could but they couldn't guarantee what I would have to pay out-of-pocket. :'/ I was so let down!
@wannaboyplz theyre blood test that your doctor can do and they're for down syndrome but also tell gender
@mrscruz0530, I guess I could look for something like that. how much did you pay? do you know if it was accurate?
I wish, my dr. office will not do the MaterniT21 test and that is the only option "available." I was prepared to pay for it, but they said I would have to go through the process to find out what my out-of-pocket expense would be so I said f-it, I will wait. guess I have to be patient.
