Breastfeeding mommy's, I need advice please!

best bottle to use alongside breastfeeding?

how can I build up my supply once baby is born?

how can I help make breastfeeding easier on baby and I?

My daughter (4 years old) was formula fed only and had a lot of feeding issues amongst other health issues

My son (1 year old) I originally planned on formula feeding him as well because of my medication I didn't think I could breastfeed, he was in respiratory distress when he was born and was sent to NICU and I learned I indeed could breastfeed with my medicine, and began pumping, and tried several times to breastfeed but didn't succeed, I was so nervous and he picked up on it, I continued to pump for a few weeks but ultimately my supply dried up (I wasn't the greatest at keeping on schedule for pumping as I was taking care of my great grandma who was hospice care)

with this baby I really would like to succeed, I am determined, and I don't have crazy commitments, the only issue is my fiance (he isn't the biological father of my other two) wants to be able to feed baby as well...

any tips, thoughts, advice or anything would be greatly appreciated!

I will be 22 weeks tomorrow, which means baby will be here in 15 weeks most likely (I had cholestasis with previous two and had to deliver at 37 weeks)

Nuby bottles are great! I was using tommy tippies but after getting nubys my daughter took them way faster than tippies. For supply drink water with oatmeal in it. It helps so much and doesn't taste much different from normal water. Sometimes I add cinnamon for flavor. Warm towels will help your breast w the tenderness. Also lanolin, life saver for cracked nipples. And remember it's going to hurt for a while, before babies you didn't have someone sucking on your boobs 24/7. It gets better. My daughters 7 weeks and it still hurts but only when she barely latches bc they're still so tender. Breast milk is the most nutritious fr our babies, and they enjoy it so much, I keep reminding myself that so I don't give up.

#mombassadorchat Happy World Breastfeeding Week! Please share your breastfeeding stories and tips! Hi everyone! @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom here. For today's chat we're going to talk about breastfeeding and pumping in honor of World Breastfeeding Week! Both can seem complicated or stressful, but remember you have lots of support here! With my first son I had things going against us for breastfeeding. I wish I knew back when he was younger that we could have still tried! With my second son I was determined to breastfeed, and even though he was born 11 weeks early I wasn't going to let that stop us from trying to breastfeed! For 7 weeks I pumped every 2 1/2-3 hours on the dot to establish and maintain my milk supply. When your little one is born early they usually need time to master sucking, swallowing, and breathing so I wasn't able to nurse right away. When my son was 33 weeks gestational (so 4 weeks old) we were finally able to latch on, and he did great! By 36 weeks gestational we had successfully started breastfeeding, and today marks 21 months of actual at-breast breastfeeding for us! I am passionate in trying to help moms-to-be and moms with breastfeeding and/or pumping, but I support moms who choose not to or for other reasons cannot breastfeed. Remember, I mentioned I didn't breastfeed my first son. I understand both sides. Breastfeeding isn't always easy, but I believe it's at least worth trying! Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Breastfeeding is hard. It's pushed on you as "the right thing to do". I had a hard time with my milk not comeing in and then a drop in my supply. So I formula fed my baby when he was still hungry after breastfeeding. Not everyone has an easy time and it can actually be very painful to some. I got lucky to have a baby who has a perfect latch so I had no pain. Even with a good latch I still got milk blisters. Although I wanted to breastfeed and was all for it I considered stopping so many times. People like to say "it's free to breastfeed" umm no, electric pump $300+, replacement parts $50+, breast pads $10 a box, nursing bras $12-$20 each, nipple creams $6-$10, storage bags $10 a box and when your baby starts to bottle feed prepare yourself for a guessing game with all the "best" bottles for breastfeed babies. Yes it's the best for your child and yes I support it 100% but NO ONE should be judged for not breastfeeding. You do not know the reason why that mother didn't breastfeed. If the baby is healthy and fed let them be. P.S. 6months of breatfeeding 💕

so my husband wants to feed are baby but the thing is that I will be breastfeeding so idk how it would work. he was thinking that when he wants to feed him he would give him formula but I just want my baby to have breast milk. so then he said why don't you pump your milk out and I'll feed it to him and i thought that would be the best thing but then I'm scared that my baby will get use to the bottle. I need help idk what to do because my husband really wants to feed him :/ and we need to come up with something before are baby is here. can anyone help??
