my hospital had special ice pads already. whoever made them was a genius. I took quite a few home with me. honestly I only used them for 3 days after birth for soreness

I saw it on Pinterest and they talked about it in my childbirth class. It's frozen maxi pads. It's supposed to feel really good and help the healing process of the lady bits when you come home :) you buy super big maxi pads, put some witch hazel, aloe, and essential oil (optional) on them and pop them in the freezer. And every time you go to the bathroom you just change it out.

Hahah. Padsicles were the greatest things.
