I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I have a severe case of bronchitis. Originally I was given a zpack and zofran. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the zpack. Then I was put on an Albuterol inhaler. The inhaler has not helped. I went to my family doctor today and I was given a shot of Decadron and two other prescriptions. I was wondering if any of you ladies have ever had the Decadron shot during pregnancy and everything be okay? This is my first pregnancy and one we have been trying for the past 3 years. I'm really uneasy about all the medication.
Thank you!
I'm on meds right now for other health problems I'm having and even pain meds. if your OB says it's ok then the benefit outweighs the risk ! my doctor also told me a lot of medicine becomes safer in the 2nd trimester even category Cs and your almost out of the 1st so I'd assume it's ok as long as your OB is aware of everything your taking.
The way its been explained to me, medicine is a last resort in pregnancy. Only take it if you absolutely have to. I'd be scared to take so much so early on. But kicking an infection quickly is safer for you little bean than being sick for a long time. Best wishes mama!
if you haven't yet don't take Zofran. studies shown it leads to birth defects
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Thanks guys! Loos like I'm allergic to this medicine too. 😐 It's amazing how pregnancy changes your body. I had no allergies before pregnancy but now everything I take I am allergic too.
