Am I the only one that doesn't make a big deal when my husband doesn't go to my appointments? He goes to the ultrasounds, but not the OB appointment, he doesn't want to see the doctor checking me, which I understand. but I don't see what the big deal is in having your SO go unless its something important actually happening, not just a check up, or your high risk.

My husband went to all my appointments except like 2 because of work . Half my pregnancy I was high risk and the rest I wasn't.
My husband has only gone to the anatomy scan & that's about it doesn't bother me because he doesn't go because he's working...this is our 3rd child so too me I'm ok going on my own...
My husband went to all of my appointments with my daughter 7-8 years ago but now he just asks me if I would like him to go. Since he works 7pm till 7am for another month. I don't see the point of him losing sleep for my doctor to go. How have you felt this past month? Any questions? Okay see you in 2-4 weeks. He just went when we were seeing what the gender was and that made him so happy but besides that. Doesn't bother me none.

I've had the same doctor for 8 years so I mean she's pretty good now with me & my questions. The only reason he doesn't go is cause he works 2ND shift so he's sleeping in the mornings but I mean they appointments right now are kind of pointless you go & they do the same things until you get closer then it gets more exciting.

yep @kelseys I go and she asks if I have questions, does the Doppler and that's it, hour drive back. and now she does my exams to check for dilation . he'll see enough of them poking at me when I go into labor!
@aek91, mines only goes to ultrasounds. he's only been to one or two apps and that was with Sammy. but he says when someone doesn't go then the doctor usually brushes you off with your questions than when someone else is there asking too.
@octoberbaby16, lol I honestly don't feel comfortable talking about vaginal stuff in front of my husband, I know it sounds childish, but he doesn't like it either. @paisleysmom exactly, and they usually just say the same stuff everytime
no I don't really care he just goes to the important ones like ultrasounds & the glucose test & once I get closer to delivery he goes with me to each one just in case. but other than that I don't really mind him not coming with me.
my fiance hasn't gone to one appointment, just ultrasounds. he's asked me if I wanted him to go but I mean why would I make him take off work to go for a checkup that takes five minutes. he won't get paid that day! he's taking off for a week when I have her , and he's not getting paid for that time off.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
It meant more when mine went with the girls but since I don't have as many u/s this pregnancy I don't really care if he comes since I know they are boring going over the same stuff each time.
