I'm a first time mom. I got blood work done week before last. I got a call back because I was at high risk for down syndrome 1 out of 200 I think. I cried and panicked. I'm praying now and have faith because I knw God will see me through. my little boy or girl will be healthy.

With two out of three of my pregnancys I was at a high risk for downs 1 in 5, then with this one 1 in 16. I did the harmony test and both of them are healthy, the first ones 6 and he's really smart.
my little sister has down syndrome, and I can tell you we were scared at first....and now we couldn't love her anymore! she is literally the best thing that could've happened to us! :) she has taught the whole family a new view on life and a new view on how loving someone can be so taken for granted! :) if you're baby does have down syndrome....it will be the blessing of a lifetime for you! and God doesn't give us what we can't handle hun! :) everything will work out!
:) either way DS or not. that baby will be loved :). special children are given to special people :)

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
