Mommies who work full time(8+ hours a day), how do you make it work? I may be getting a job here soon and I'll be working full time. It's good money with benefits, but my little one is still so little. How do you deal with the guilt?
Pictures! And calls thru the day! They help so much! I got lucky with the job I got and take 1.5 HR lunch to come home and visit for a bit
i hear you. it sucks. i wish my husband had a better job so i didnt have to work so much :(
@hailholla1412, my daughter has insurance through the state, thankfully. But that is one thing I will have when/if I start this job. And it'll be nice. And I keep trying to remind myself it's just for now, but it's killing me.
@babybonbon, I'm not so much worries about myself being tired as I am about my LO. She's never been away from me but for a few hours. All of a sudden it will be for 10 hours, 5 days a week? I know it's best for us, but my heart is breaking.
aww im not a mommy quite yet but i will have to go back to work after 6 weeks because i have benefits at my job and my hubby doesnt so i have to work full time. i know im gonna feel so guilty and sad handing her over to someone else at a month and a half but i just got to keep telling myself it is for her future and what is best for her. its a sacrifice i have to make in order to know she has the insurance she needs for her doc visits. if i didnt work and we didnt have insurance id feel even more guilty because im not doing every thing i could. thinking about that and praying a lot knowing God is in control of our lives is what helps me get through
I work 11-12 hours a day. I've been doing it for a while but when I take breaks, especially during the beginning I would nap for 30 min and that would help a lot.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
