Does anyone on here have cervical incompetence? My doctor told me I have it and I had to have a cerclage. This is my first baby, and didn't know if this was common in a lot of women or not.

I Got The Progesterone Shots Instead of getting the surgery!!! I also have a weak cervix I am 37 weeks and I started getting the shots on my Butt at 16 weeks!! I Prefer The Shot More Because you can have sex and be active moving around!! the shots last 7 days in your body so you have to keep getting it every week @mckenzieepps
And then they take it out they don't put you to sleep or anything they just open you up and cut the stitches and take it out I got mines taken out at 37 weeks it doesn't hurt at all @mckenzieepps
Okay same thing happened to me I literally had no cervix when I was 8 months pregnant your going to feel a lot of pain down there around 7 months closer to 8 I went to the er and they said I need to not walk so much so you can't walk around stores and stuff lay down as much as possible and they told me no sex I still did it tho my bf just didn't put it all the way inside and didn't cum inside cause it can loosen the stitches @mckenzieepps
They put mine in because my cervix were shortening and trying to open at like 23 weeks which in my state they won't help you if your baby is born before 25 weeks so they did it to keep him in there. But the doctor hasn't told me really anything except rest a lot and if I'm doing daily activities and feel pain then lay down or go to the er. They didn't tell me no sex or anything like that. So I am glad you told me. Lol and they said they'd cut it out around 37/38 weeks and that's all they've said
Umm not really any problem but once the baby starts growing more you start to feel pain in your lower stomach and no sex obviously I was super high risk idk why they put it in so I can't really say. @mckenzieepps
Has it caused you any problems? Or why do you hate it? I've had mine about 2/3 weeks and so far no pain or problems.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@barbara1201, thank you so much for the help! And @newmommysoon21 I was going to get the shots but my insurance wouldn't pay for it :/ I wish I could have though that sounds a whole lot better than the progesterone suppository I use.
