I'm thinking about going in for my Glucose test later, Is it okay to have Water?

Water is fine just nothing with sugar

No. You can't drink anything

every dr is differant but my dr said you can't drink anything at all. The test is to see how your body rids sugar . That's why it is measured and drank with the amount of time.

if you have any questions ask your Dr. some doctors are different but I know mine with my older two I had to go thirsty too :( good luck

I was allowed to drink a little water 30 min after I finished the drink.

@shannybshanny, and plain water with no additives does not affect your test.

@mommagotbump16 like I said every Dr is different My doctor said absolutely NOTHING at all not even ice chips. I get mine done Friday and I'm already dreading it.
