When did all you mommies go on leave from work? My doc hasn't said anything about me going on leave to relax and prepare myself for the arrival of my daughter. I will be 40 weeks on Wednesday and pick my induction date on Friday if I don't have her by than. My work doesn't offer maternity leave (I work for a cleaning/painting company) and I just can't do the cleaning anymore cause it just takes everything out of me.

@mommagotbump16, that's what I was trying to do was wait as long as I could but I just can't do it anymore.
I went until 39+1 before I couldn't keep up. Then I went out on leave. Trying to wait til the last minute again to save my maternity leave.
Can I just call and ask for it? I have been having hard contractions but they aren't close enough together for them to keep me. I just don't want to go into labor at work. @mommy2730
I started my leave last Friday. I was 35w5d. All I did was asked my Dr for a release form at my last appt.
Maternity leave
Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
So my bf just beat the hell out of my dog and idk what to do now. I want to leave but don't have my paper yet to take my dog with me anywhere I go
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Idk why, but every time I go to the doctor they just check my blood pressure, weight, urine, baby's heartbeat, and send me on my way!
So I’m not going to the ER my ob wants me to come there leave a sample and maybe some lab work.. but he’s not going to be checking me or anything so what do I do?
u don't have to go through ur Dr. just tell ur job, when and make sure they know in advance
