What's everyone's recommendations on formula milk?! Still may breast feed but in 2 minds at the moment. Tia☺

I'm in debate about breastfeeding. I want to try but I'm quite happy and confident to use formula milk. Xx

I'm not breastfeeding just as its not convenient for my life style 😩 although I would love to! But I'm using aptamil formula x

Aptamil is what I'll be using if breastfeeding doesn't work for me too @beccastirlingx xx

I just feel it's not very convenient but seems as though you get looked down on if you don't by some people! @beccastirlingx yeah I've heard aptimil is the best one from friends! Xx

@rach91, I know what you mean! My health nurse woman proper tried to pressure me into it! Yeah sure it's the best thing for them but sometimes it really isn't convenient! Because expressing can't be done right away as you don't produce enough so you always have to be around when baby needs fed, and even when you do express, it's finding time out a busy exhausting day to express! I feel bad for not breastfeeding, but if formula was that bad, they wouldn't sell it. Plus I was a formula baby as was my sister and we are fine and healthy! Do what you feel is best!! Plus, I want my mum to experience feeding her grand child and she can't do that if he's sooking on me constantly! Don't let anyone pressure u into anything! @stacey804 yeah, it's one of the better ones! Xx

That's what puts me off, people are so judgmental these days about it all. But to be honest I'm more set on formula then breastfeeding. It's the way people speak when you tell them you want to use formula and not breast. @beccastirlingx @rach91 xx

@stacey804, it's horrible. It's our child, you'd think they'd let us get on with it! Also, this may sound a little selfish, but I want to be able to eat and drink as I please once he's vacated and breastfeeding you can't! Xx

Exactly the same, that's also why I never bothered going to the antenatal classes as app they just try and pressurise you into breast feeding, also I want my oh and family to be able to Bond and feel our boy....yeah people are very judgemental, try not to give a shit what other people think though!@beccastirlingx @stacey804 like you said also, if formula was that bad for babies it wouldn't be used! Xx

Exactly, my mam breastfed me, and although she said it was a great experience it was so much for her, she never got a break and she said although it sounds selfish she just wishes she could have shared me with my dad and family for some space. @beccastirlingx @rach91 xx

@rach91, @stacey804 do what is best for you girls! But I'm formula feeding as I'm doing this solo and know for a fact I will appreciate someone taking over a feed! I want my son to bond with others also, no doubt breastfeeding is amazing to experience. But just not convenient for most! Good luck in deciding ladies! Don't feel guilty and don't let anyone pressure you!! Xx

I'm going to try breastfeeding but if it doesn't work out I am more than happy to bottle feed. I'm also considering doing both after a month or so. Not sure what the opinion is on that.

Im formula feeding this one. I tried breast feeding our youngest but it didn't work out. I formula fed my first. We will be using cow and gate. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't want to do.x

im going to formula feed but top up with pumped breast milk for a few months so baby get best of both worlds. a few family members will judge me im sure but im doing whats right for me and my family i have 3 boys and a daddy who will all want to be involved. Do what works best for you xx

It's nobody's business how you feed you're baby, my sister couldn't breastfeed and was distraut saying she was a bad mum and felt so guilty.

Ooops posted by accident! but Sofia is a healthy happy baby. I'm going to try and breastfeed but if it doesn't work out, formula it is! I'd rather they have formula than starve! I'm not going to put pressure on myself, I think my sister did this and felt like a failure. x

@beccastirlingx This is what I produced the second time expressing. She was 5 days old. :) You can freeze breast milk xx

But yes :) Do what you feel is best girls :) If I have a second child I will be formula feeding them xx
