I told myself not to get pregnant because I knew my parents would flip. My brother didn't tell my parents he was having a baby until his gf was 8 months pregnant. So, they lectured me for about 3 hours. And they're divorced so I got two three hour lectures. But all I told them was I was going to be the best mom I can be and give the baby the life of deserves. Now I'm 5 months pregnant and they're so excited for her 😍 I'm telling you, just tell them. It'll make everything easier and much less stressful

@brionie31, I just told my mom and I told her I had something for her. And I gave her the sonograms in an envelope😍😍😍it went really well!!

No problem! 😊 When I realized I was bleeding and of course self diagnosed on Google I was scared but I literally stood outside my mom's bedroom door for at least a good 10 minutes trying to grow a pair and just tell her😂 Even though it was scary but relieving then, I look back now and think about how funny it was mainly because of how I was freaking out over nothing.

I was very scared to tell my mom but what I did was I got boy shoes and girl shoes put them in a bag with my pregnancy test and had her open it I was crying cause I was so scared.. Turns out she already knew she even knew before I had known myself that I was pregnant, she told me she just saw it all over me I walked into the house one night with a dress and apparently I was glowing, her mommy instincts kicked in.. I'm glad I told her it was a big relief after, she already loves her grand baby so much and is so excited. I'm sure everything will go good telling your parents, good luck and I hope it all goes well.❤️

My parents aren't together so it was easier to tell my mom first but my dad didn't take it bad either because my sister had both her kids before 22 and my brother has his daughter at 19 so it wasn't really a bad thing to him. You might be surprised at how you think they'll react vs how they do. I told my boyfriend my mom and dad were gunna kill me and they both weren't mad at all. I'm also 21 (found out when I was 20) if that helps haha

it's better to tell her now. My friend waited till she was 5 months to tell her mother. the sooner the better. her mother was hurt more than anything b.c her daughter waited so long. your mom might flip but she'll come around.

It's hard at any age when it's "unexpected" but everything will be ok once it sinks in ...I promise and once that baby is born no one can imagine life without him/her in it☺️ I'm 27 gonna be 28 and my mom flipped !!!! Literally flipped so bad ...and I'm almost 30 engaged and on our own. She's beyond excited now ! Head up be strong that baby needs u no matter what ❤️

I know it's hard and a lot of people may feel like you but can't hide it l forever... So I suggest that you just say something. The response probably won't be as bad as you are overthinking. Good Luck 🤗

I had to tell my mom sooner then I planned due to bleeding which is why I think she took it so well because she didn't want me to worry even more. We talked after finding out everything was fine and she was more upset then mad but now she's overly excited. Depending on how your parents are, maybe try a cuteish way of telling them like an ultrasound or if you think they're gunna freak out just sit them down...I'd tell the one that'd take it better first haha like my dad didn't know until I was almost 20 weeks.

Get them a baby outfit that has something about grandparents on it
