My wisdom tooth is impacted. it's causing lots of pressure to my jaw.. can I get a tooth extracted while pregnant? they'll have to cut it out.

I heard you can and that they give you pain meds to help, but I went through the surgery and I was put to sleep and woke up in the worst pain & felt awful for a week after even with the pain meds I was still in pain.. So wait until after the baby or if they can give you something that's safe for you & baby, but I would not want to go through that awake.
I had all four wisdom teeth removed while being awake and just having them numb my gums
Yeah they'll probably wait because they put you to sleep for it.
they will probably wait unless its infected because you cant have anything to knock you out while they cut it out and also cant have pain meds afterwards
@harleysmom, the pain is bearable now. sometimes it's pretty intense but not for long so I'm just going to wait!
