okay my cousin is using the name we picked out for our sons middle name as the first name for her son after I told her what we where naming him and we can not change it cuz my fiance got his name tattooed on him. so pissed off.

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
My boyfriend is so upset that I didn’t give our son his last name but I have 4 other kids that has my last name I didn’t want to make him the only one with a different last name. Is that selfish of me? Or should he just understand. We not married
I’ve known since I was a child that if I had a son it would be Jaison but Jaxon and Lincoln were on the list just in case we changed our mind. If Jais would have been a girl, we would’ve named her Ariana. (Our girl name has changed now, though since that name is so popular)

I don't think its something to really be mad about. I know you want your son to only have that name but reality is, other people have the same name probably, know them or not.

well when she asked me not even a few days ago what we where naming him and using the same exact spelling and everything than yeah I'm ganna be pissed off. she could have spelled it differently or picked a different name. in my eyes that is stealing the name I have had set since a few weeks after we found out. you may not be mad if it was you but I am. she literally picked the name after she asked me what our sons name is. kinda shady in my eyes. @kelseys

Yeah exactly and we can't change it cause my husband already has it as a tattoo in his ribs. if she was ganna use it spell it a different way not the same way we are. I literally so not know what to do @raerae95

lol she ain't right. I was going to name my son Jordan isaiah and an ex associate of mine stole the entire name the month before I was due lol I ended up naming my son Jahkai which I like better. it's annoying but at least it's just the middle name.
