Do all mommy's get that dark vertical line? Also are the lines that extend horizontally stretch marks? I really can't tell and my boyfriend wouldn't tell me even if I did.

sometimes it will and sometimes it won't, but it's nothing to worry about. Because some women faces get darker, legs, hands, and so on. But you have to think it's a good thing, because your body hopefully is getting the right protein for you as well as your baby. Women that has those concerns about the darkness in their skin use some type of oil shea butter or cream to prevent that
@ljmommy, yeah lol it looks like youre dirty but youre not and they will go away over time all of mine went away with my first but now they're coming back with my second pregnancy.
@elamsmommy, omg same here! The lines in like the creases of my armpits got darker and I'm like I know it's not dirt lol. I hope it all goes away afterwards
@sperdue22, I take prenatals every day since the beginning and I eat a lot of fruits and veggies.

It's called "Linea Nigra" it's a mark of pregnancy and yes some get it and others may not. It also has a lot to do with all of the protein in vitamins you are receiving from your prenatal vitamins. So that's why some people have it and some people don't. Because some women do and some don't take their prenatals.

yeah mine goes up to my boobs. lol I noticed it yesterday when I got out the shower. I was so weirded out by it. haha. but I can't see how far down mine goes. but my boyfriend says it goes all the way down and under my belly. I'm just like... I must be a weird human being or some mess. lol
linea nigra! mine didn't appear until almost 30 weeks though which surprised me
I don't have one at all. I read people with darker skin tend to get them more but that's not always the case. It goes away after birth and not everyone will get one.
the side ways lines can be pigment also. i get them too and the one vertical. i get horizontal lines in my arm pits too. its like everything gets darker. i hate it lol.
To your boobs? Lol I never heard of that before. Mine is like 4 fingers below my boobs and I can't even see how far downward it goes @xbbycolletto

If you make more melanin in your body, you're most likely to get it. This is my third pregnancy and I've never had one :) Very very common though!
Linea nigra! It's selective, some women get it and others don't! It also has something to do with genes.

I have had two people tell me they see a line. Does anyone else see a second line?

I see a SUPER faint line! Or I'm crazy.. Pic was taken within 5 minutes. Either I'm pregnant or I'm having line eyes.
Anyone taken Walgreens one step pregnancy tests and get evap lines every time? I can’t tell if I’m getting a very faint line or an evap. The line showed up within the time frame so I’m confused.
I hate evap lines!!! Ugh!
