Does anyone's supply seem to taper off toward the end of the day? All day my 5 week old eats and is really content after. But by 7 at night after she eats she's looking for more and is so upset and I just don't have anything else to give her, so Ive been giving her 2oz in a bottle. Any way to boost supply through out the day? I hate seeing her so frustrated and I don't have a huge stash saved to keep going like this.

@alusardi, the same thing is happening with me. my baby is 10 days old. I'm able to pump 4-5 oz after her first morning feed that I put away so she can eat at night. I will be ordering lactation cookies tomorrow and will be getting mothers milk tea from target. hopefully it works.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Do you have to eat good in order to breastfeed? My MiL always asks if I'm eating good and I tell her yea just because I don't want to argue with her (I only eat like once or twice if I'm lucky a day) but I mean, there are women in third world countries who breastfeed and I'm sure they rarely eat themselves too. She always says that if I don't eat proper meals throughout the day my milk will 'dry up' is this true??
there's no such thing as an empty breast, so you do still have milk in there.. but baby is probably just frustrated that it's not coming out as fast as it does when you feel full.
