why do people want their kids so close in age?? why cant they just let the baby be a baby and give him/her the attention it needs? 😕
@melinda89, oh I know that was mine and my husbands rule . My 3 year old loves to help with diapers and laundry my one year tries to help with laundry it's too freaking cute
@missa7, as I said before mine is 5 years she's the helper, a 2 who will be three in June, and a 1 year old whose 2 nest month. I'm pregnant AGIAN. Lol but we are proof that you don't have to push your kids for them to help.
@melinda89, oh I know my grandma was like that she made the older kids help with younger ones . But I don't force my kids to help but they do like to help . And I meant I have a 3 year old , 1 year old and 5 months not 1 and 1 .
@vanessasmommy, i was asking not judging but okay lol have a good day
@missa7, you would be surprised! I'm telling you! Some people force their child to be a sibling, like they have to stop what they're doing to grow up and help them. Since we haven't pushed no one, like you. My daughter loves to help on her own, with her brother and sister. Especially since I'm pregnant! Lol I think she was more asking! You know you don't know unless you ask! Lol
It's the truth why sit and judge other moms decisions @cheyenne95
This just pissed me off completely
If I wanna have my babies a year or two apart from eachother I'm going to do it ...Why does it concern you ??
@cheyenne95
@melinda89, no you werent girl i just wanted to make sure no one thought i was judging or anything. you seem like a wonderful mom!!💜
@cheyenne95, my 2nd child was 4 months when I got pregnant with our 3rd . We wanted to have our kids close together so we can get over what WE think/ believe is the hardest stage , we have a 1 year old , 1 year old and 5 month old . My middle and youngest 1 year 2 days apart . . We never gave our middle any less attention and still treated her like a baby . However now she is a toddler so why treat her like a baby ??? My question is when do you stop treating them like a baby ?
I wasn't either! I promise I wasn't being mean, because I was like you once. Then I experienced it myself, so I promise I wasn't thinking you was. 😊 sorry if it came off as such. As I said tho some does force their children to grow, but I didn't! I agreed I was going to let them be kids!
@melinda89, because im curious thats why i bother. im not trying to start shit i just want to know why
I will say this! I have a 5 year old, an almost 3 year old, and an almost 2 year old. I am also pregnant. My last two are 10 1/2 months apart, and I'll spare you the math. She was 2 1/2 months, but he was not planned. He was my blessing just like all of them, however my kids play. Nobody thinks their to old, or to young. So it wasn't planned this way, but if I had to do it all over... I would plan it this way! You do not have to force your child to grow up, and it doesn't. My youngest daughter still got to be a baby, and so did my son. It's the parents who make their kids grow up, when they shouldn't. I didn't push the siblings on one another, and they love one another. I know it don't make sense, but I don't care. If there is one thing I have learned from growing up is, let people live how they want. If they're not hurting you, or abusing their kids then why bother?
I was years apart from both my siblings and we had nothing in common they always seen me as just the little sister so I'm choosing to have my two close so they can be best friends... I don't think me having a second close makes me give any less attention to my first son he's still a mamas boys and I think if both parents are engaged in parenting there is nothing wrong with it.
thats understandable but like people want another baby when their infant is like 5 months and stuff..its just odd to me lol
To each his own. There's pros and cons to each path one decides to take.
I want mine close in age...no more than 2 years apart so they have someone to play with and grow up with. I feel like if they're too far apart in age they'll have nothing to do with each other because they won't have the same interests.
I see so many mommies giving their babies rice cereal to sleep even though it's not recommended? Why?
(Thread Closed) The world according to baby bump
Reasons why I should have my son taken away from me for neglect:
Would you travel with a baby that is 3months old? Why or why not?
Why is my baby being so damn stubborn 😡😡😡
Why did the Baby Bump app close down?
@missa7, lol! It is too cute! 😊
