Ring your GP's office. They should usually be aware of the condition. I had blood tests done two weeks ago because I was scared it could be obstetric choleostasis. As soon I mentioned the itching the Dr straight said we need to do bloods to rule it out. Luckily tests were negative but It was good to have the peace of mind knowing how dangerous the condition is

I have a midwife but open twice a week

You need to call and speak to your midwife as if its choleostasis it will need to be treated and you must have a blood test asap. Have you got a midwife you can call? xx

Yes I've been itching throughout pregnancy. Make sure you tell your midwife and get them to do a blood test as there is a serious condition called choleostasis that I am have been being monitored for. Have you got itchy palms of your hands or soles of your feet? x
