To everything that is sick or hurt & thinking of going to the ER at Spartanburg regional, Spartanburg SC please think twice of going there. Yesterday I had surgery for my gallbladder & like if the afternoon I went home around 12 pm Then around 4:45 pm I was going to lay down to take a nap & I guess I laid down fast when I tried getting right back up my chest was hurting & I couldn't Breath normal like I do. When I tried moving my arm my breath would slowed down & it would go all my neck. So I called office of my doctor that took my surgery & they told me to go to the er because I sounded that I couldn't Breath normal. So I went to the er at Spartanburg regional. The lady at the front desk was with someone else. I told her I was having trouble breathing. She like we'll wait I'm couldn't wait so I told the security that I need help please. His response was I'm just a security. So I told the lady again the response of the security was if you can talk then you are breathing fine. The lady response was you just having panic attack. I had told her that I has surgery earlier for my gallbladder why would I have a panic attack. The only nice person was this RN girl that came in to sign me in. I couldn't Breath much & I show her my bracelet from my surgery the first lady she that bracelet is not from here. The RN said yes it is. Type this number in & her information will show up. So the RN got me sign in. So they took me to the waiting room area. I was waiting on getting my vital signs. Everyone at the er keep looking at me that I was habing trouble breathing. My hubby went to talk to them & told them what was going on. So they check me & ask what was going on I was having trouble telling them but I did it anyways. The rns was just playing around acting that they couldn't hear me. They were asking things that didn't go with what was going on with me. So I went back to the waiting room & they said you will go back when we have a open room. My hubby like if you don't get seen in like 10 minutes we are going to Mary black. We waited & he saw that I was getting worse so we let & went to Mary black. When I got at the hospital the front desk lady was really nice & sign me in fast. The RN saw me before everyone that was already there. & took me to a room. Did everything they could so I could get better. So please everyone think before going to Spartanburg regional. I thought people that comes in with a heart attack & chest pain gets seen before anyone else. The only reason I went there was because my doctor office told me to go & they had all my info from my surgery. Please think about it. I know not all people that works there are mean & careless people that don't care about were patient health. 😠😡😠
