I keep having this terrible feeling that I'm not gonna know when I start going into labor. My body would be stubborn enough to not have my water break on its own, and my pain tolerance is extremely high (no exaggeration)! I'm just worried that by the time we get to L&D, Mr. Kenneth may already be halfway out. Just add it to the list of crazy stuff I worry about while pregnant lol
@mommyhammond2016, I get contractions right now, but it's getting to the point that I can barely tell the difference between bh and real ones, so I keep thinking that if they are real ones and don't get any worse, how am I suppose to know when to go to the hospital? because of where I live, my midwife said that I should come in if there 15 minutes apart, but that happens on a daily basis. So I'm really hoping for some definite sign that he's coming lol
i have a high pain tolerance also and with my first I just kept telling my husband that I felt something weird I had no idea they were contractions I was getting induced that afternoon and I'll tell you what that pitocin really made those strong lol I wasn't screaming or anything g I was still joking with the nurses at 7 cm
and my water didnt break... my dr broke it a while after I was admitted to the hospital.
I didnt know!!!!!! Luckily I had a dr appt the day I was gonna have my twins. I went in just for my regular apt(at 33 weeks 1 day) around 1 and was dilated to a 5 and was sent straight to the hospital! they tried to stop it and it didnt work... I delivered about 10 hours later at 11:16 and 11:22. I didnt feel any of it!
Luckily I'm only 10 minutes from mine but I've made the mistake of watching too many videos of women giving birth in cars or at home because they didn't make it and now I'm just like, well shit, hopefully I know! For some reason I have a strong feeling my water isn't gunna break itself or it'll like be in the shower and I won't even realize it.
@scc2413, see that's what I've been worried about too. I'm only 36 weeks, but he could come anytime now, and I live an hour and a half from my hospital. I certainly don't wanna have him in the back of my truck cuz I didn't know I was in labor lol
one of my friends was in labor for 10 hours and didn't even know until she went to get induced and they told her she's been in labor and was already 5cm! I keep feeling like I won't know especially because I'm 39 weeks right now and haven't had any noticeable signs so now I keep thinking like what if I am in labor and don't know😂
@izzysmommy1003, oh goodie lol. At least the pain will confirm that he's finally gonna be here, whenever that will be lol
ahhh OK
