Final Update!!!!
As of Tuesday, I was told that my lil nugget has 0% chance of survival outside of the womb. Being that I'm 26 weeks pregnant, my only option is to wait. The doctors still want me to have a vaginal delivery and hope that I make it to term but there is a possibility of miscarriage. I'm in much better spirits today than I was when I first got the news but, nonetheless, it still hurts! My faith is BEYOND gone and I'm just playing the waiting game now! Thanks everyone for the prayers and concern, it has been greatly appreciated!😘
awe this breaks my heart, never knew such a thing existed, I'm sorry, hoping and praying for a miracle for u
@twinscomingsoon, its not the intestines that they are worried about, its his/her spine being curved all the way in. That's what makes it "impossible" for him to live outside of the womb.
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS BAD NEWS I'LL BE PRAYING FOR YOU AND BABY
My brother was born premature with his intestines outside his body. I'd get a second opinion. My brother survived. He is perfectly healthy. He was in nicu for a few months to get his intestines secured inside his body and to get him healthy but he survived via c section. Do not deliver vaginally with the intestines outside the body! They will literally be ripped apart! 😞😞😞 I'm shocked your dr would even consider that an option. Don't lose hope! Get a second opinion. Granted every pregnancy and defect is different but there still might be a chance. I'm not trying to get your hopes up I'm just speaking from an experience with something similar. I will keep you and your baby in my thoughts. Xoxox
@britbrat94 It's ok. We don't have the answers. We might not ever get them. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
@junesmommy15, I thought so too but after months of prayer, church and having my baby prayed over and still seeing no type of improvement at the doctor's appointments, I'm just questioning a lot.
You might not want to hear it but God does impossible things. They're only impossible to us. You never know with him. You'll have anothe appointment and your baby's intestines will be inside of his/her body. I pray the very best for you and your baby. I hope you continue to carry the baby until term.
I have been praying for you since you let us know.
@bri31212, at 12 weeks he/she was diagnosed with body-stalk anomaly. The intestines are outside of the body. However, the condition is now startting to affect his spine.
Lots of positive thoughts going your way💙 keep your head up mama.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
