can I take Tylenol during pregnancy cause my fever is now 101

Usually about 20 mins or half hr. But if I'm taking extra strength Tylenol alone I always take 2. My doctor says it is perfectly fine and I haven't had any problems from it in any of my 4 pregnancies. @ashley89

Try a cool shower or soaking in a cooler bath also. That's what helped me a lot during all 4 of my pregnancies.

I get migraines and my doctor prescribed me Tylenol with codeine in it and told me to take one extra strength with that pill. So two extra strength Tylenol are completely fine hun. But if ur fever goes higher I would deff get to ur doctors or the nearest ER.

@ashley89, I would start with one. drink lots of water and get a cool cloth on your head. give it an hour and see if it helps at all. of course follow any and all advice of your doctor over me but that is just what I would do personally

You take a regular strength up to 4 a day and 2 a day if it's extra strength also don't let your fever get to high it can cause problems

Its all you can take thats pain meds.

You should call your doctor if you have a fever above 100.3 and yes you can definitely take Tylenol but call your doctor first they might wanna check on the baby
