So because I'm having period pain, midwife has made sure that if it gets more painful or hasn't gone by the end of the night I've to phone triage and I've to keep an eye out for symptoms of labour. Wow😐😐 so far, period pain is mild and between every 2-4 minutes. Seriously hoping this is not early labour! Far far too soon!
Mines are in my thighs and I have a tight feeling along the bottom of my back when I lye on my side! And it is scary eh? I'm just seriously hoping this will pass, it's far too early @cmcdon203 xx
Mines were in my back thighs and front thy giv me a fright cos I know one day they might not go away lol xx
It's horrible. I'm still going about my business, until I know for a fact it's labour, it's just normal pregnancy pains for me 😂 @cmcdon203 xx
Showers made the pain worse! @demi_leigh but yeah, I mentioned that to my midwife by she still seemed worried and kept saying I should look for signs of labour so she's got me totally worked up! Ahhh, it's so stressful being pregnant 😂 @demi_leigh xx
I've had nothing since and I'm 37 weeks now! Although my Braxton hicks are continuous ! I'll be so used to these pains by the time she finally arrives lol... Yeah they sound the same as mine, I could have cried they were so painful. They found protein in my urine too Hun, turned out I had a yeast infection so they prescribed me with pessaries and I've been fine ever since :-) maybe ask your gp / nurse if they can do a swab... Midwife told me having an infection can make your body go into false labour🙈 oh tell me about it, impatient mummies aren't we 😋😋 xx
Midwife said the period pains was my body getting ready @demi_leigh I get them often randomly. And ha @winterbaby95 I hope that's the same for me...got 3 and a half weeks left and I feel I just can't wait now getting impatient and frustrated especially with movements as they feel different now, midwife said that's because hasn't got much room in there but my baby has never been super super active anyway like some of my friends. Will happen when it happens!! Xx
I've not had a show or anything, just these pains and pressure feeling on my hips. Pains seemed to have stopped and going to go for a shower and see how I feel! They also found protein in my urine today and had to take another set of bloods as I've been having headaches and stuff. Just want him here haha! @demi_leigh xx
I went into hospital at 35 weeks because my plug went and I was having period like pains every 2-3 mins & on the monitor they showed up at like 100+... They sent me home & told me to keep an eye on them. It turned out I had an irritable uterus cos of it being my first baby & my body getting ready - I found if I was tired or dehydrated it gets worse xx
@emorleyx Haha xD I was expecting to go over due xD Instead I went into labour at 39 weeks. Didn't see any plug..show or anything lol. Just woke up and my waters went 2 seconds later xx
She said that aswell, I'm not 100% sure it was my plug she didn't seemed concerned, a girl I used to work with her plug went at like 25 weeks made out it was end of world but it regenerated, I'm just getting on with it lol as I feel like my look I will go fully overdue especially with my spd lol @winterbaby95 ! Xx
I'm 34, it's so scary! Mines where regular but have stopped now, but whenever I get up to do something they come back! Really no idea what's going on! @emorleyx xx
Good luck @beccastirlingx so scary int it haha to think could happen soon! I'm 36 weeks have had a snotty show and period aches, midwife told me they was braxton hicks but then again mine wasn't regular like yours! Xx
@beccastirlingx There's no way to say for sure but it does sound like you are in early labour hun xx
sweetie I have got no experience on that haha if it doesn't get worse than maybe not.. but atleast you know what to do incase it is and they will look after you :) @beccastirlingx xx
Do you all honestly think this is the start of labour? I'm now getting pressure/pushing down feeling on the side of my hips, my stomach doesn't feel rock hard either. I'm just so scared 😂😂 @felicjuh xx
I'm excited for you @beccastirlingx 94% of baby's that are born from 32 weeks onwards (premature) are absolutely fine and the other 6% just needs a bit of monitoring. you will be fine :) keep us updated xx
I literally have no idea what to do, I'm just carrying on like nothing is happening and just hoping it'll kind of stop if it is labour 😂😂 @winterbaby95 xxx
@beccastirlingx Awe hun, I didn't think I would go into labour a week early so it was quite overwhelming for me so I understand how you feel 😚 I will be checking for updates. Xxx
@cayleighnatasha, @winterbaby95 thank you girls! Just so nerve wracking because I didn't think it would happen so soon! I thought I still had 5 weeks or something left! Will keep you all updated, will be phoning triage around 6-7 if pain hasn't subsided!! Xxx
my older brother was born at 34 weeks and my younger brother at 32 weeks both very healthy. don't worry yourself hun just keep positive xxx
Ahhhh, it's so scary and I'm only 34 weeks! The period pain is getting a little more sore as well, oh god 😩😩😩 @quelle-y-chiffre xx
Awe hun, I wouldn't worry :) It is early but my god brother was born at 27 weeks :) he is a healthy 13 year old xD So bubba has a very high survival rate xx
Ah Hun, just keep an eye on it. They come when they're ready after all 😋 xx @beccastirlingx
