How painful is the epidural..?

It's nothing lol I was so scared to get one and let me tell you when I was in labor all night I wish I got it first thing lol once I got it life was complete lol and its kinda nice because your whole pregnancy your getting up and down to pee and with the epidural you get a catheter so I loved it lol not getting up and down every minute was amazing

its not as bad as you think trust me its the best feeling ever TBH it kinda felt like I had to poop lol but you feel the baby come and its just amazing.

for my opinion its better not to do it I see went all natural and loved every moment of it and besides I was already 9cm when I arrived at the hospital

It scared the crap out of me both times...also because I looked. This time I want to go completely natural.

It really isn't as bad as people make it seem, it's a couple quick pinches and that's it

it scares you? the one i watched i was like so thats all it is?! i thought it was like a metal needle that stayed in you but its a plastic tube like thingy lol now im not scared im just not looking forward to an IV or catheter

the worst pain of my labor and delivery was a shot in my hip. not the epidural. if that says anything...haha

noooo dont be scared ! u dont feel nothing at all i promise... only a lil small pinch. i even asked the doc after it was put if he was done yet, lol

Me too! Contractions are way to bad that the epidural doesn't compare. I was at 7 cm when I got it.

from what ive been told its just a little pinch you feel after that you dont feel anything else lol

I didn't feel it at all honestly. The contractions were that bad for me I guess.
