If you do dye it outside its because of the fumes you inhale

yes it's okay, just make sure the area is ventilated or you're outside. Some research says wait until your second trimester because the first 12 weeks of development are important.

My doctor says that all over hair dye is not okay because it soaks into the scalp; however, foils are OK because it's only on the hair and not the scalp

you can dye you're hair just make sure it's ammonia free. that's where the main chemicals and bad smell come from that isn't healthy for you or baby

Wait until second trimester

I would say wait till your second trimester, thats what my Dr recommend. After that I dyed my hair 2x in a ventilated area. Someone did it for me so I told that person I was pregnant just so she can know what to put on. Baby is fine, healthy and beautiful !!
