QTNA : is it ok to eat before the 1 hour glucose test?

You have to drink water if you're pregnant. Baby needs water.

Mine I was told to eat a small snack 3 hours b4 and only drink water. I passed. I had toast and jelly for the small snack. My apt was at 9am lol I woke up just to eat then took a nap b4 my apt.

I couldn't eat or drink after 12 the night before. Couldn't even have water until after the test. Good luck

My appointment is at 9:45 and they told me to have breakfast no later than 7:45. They want me to be 'fasting' for 2 hours before.

they told me no eating or drinking after midnight because theyll take my blood ill drink the drink and an hour later theyll take my blood and then i can go eat or whatever lol but every office is different

My doctor told me not to drink anything, even water. If you are thirsty just take a few sips and that's it, that's how I was instructed. I keep my fingers crossed for your good result :)

I didn't with this pregnancy. I feel as though that's why I failed with my second child.

I didn't pass I had to take the 3hr which sucks but I pass that @foreverlaquan

I also did it before I ate breakfast

I had to take the 2 hour but I passed it and I didn't eat after 12 lol

I took it a few days ago, i'm going to call tomorrow and see if i passed or not

To be safe yeah I wouldn't eat after 12.

They told me not to eat. But if you eat, you have to wait 2 hours before you take the test. But like @alyen2 said, every office is different

Every office is different. Mine told me to eat like I normally would and not to fast at all.

They test you for fasting and if you fail it I think you have to go do it over but a longer one
